Refund Policy

Last updated: 27 April 2026

Who this policy applies to

Quizzley is operated by Dapt UK Ltd (company no. 12841536, registered in England and Wales; registered office: 3rd Floor, The Coade, 98 Vauxhall Walk, London, SE11 5EL). All Quizzley orders are processed by our payment provider Paddle, which is the Merchant of Record for every transaction. Refunds are handled by Paddle in line with Paddle's Refund Policy and Paddle's Buyer Terms, and applicable consumer-protection law.

General rule

Unless required by applicable law, all transactions are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Refunds may be issued where you exercise a statutory withdrawal or refund right (see below), or on a discretionary basis by Paddle. Refunds will not be issued where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behaviour. If a refund is granted, your access to the relevant Quizzley plan or feature will end.

Statutory withdrawal (UK / EU / EEA)

If you are a consumer in the UK, EU, EEA or Switzerland, you have a 14-day statutory right to withdraw from certain digital content and service contracts and receive a full refund.

  • The right applies to one-off purchases and to the first payment under a subscription.
  • It does not apply to subsequent subscription renewals, except as noted below.
  • If your subscription includes a free trial, a fresh 14-day window starts when the trial ends.
  • If you are in the UK and have an annual subscription, a fresh 14-day window starts each time it auto-renews for another year.

To exercise this right, you must request a refund within 14 days of the transaction date (see "How to request a refund" below).

Important: digital-content waiver

When you complete checkout with Paddle, you are typically asked to expressly consent to immediate access to the digital product and to acknowledge that, by doing so, you waive your 14-day right of withdrawal once you start using the product. This is required by UK and EU law for instantly-delivered digital content. If you have started using your Quizzley plan after consenting to this waiver at checkout, the statutory 14-day withdrawal right above will no longer apply, and any refund will be at Paddle's discretion (see below).

Discretionary refunds

Paddle may, at its sole discretion, grant a refund if a request is submitted within 14 days of the transaction date. Submitting a request within this window does not guarantee a refund — each case is reviewed individually, taking into account factors such as the nature of the product, the reason for the request, and your usage. Paddle may approve a refund in full, in part, or decline it.

Faulty or not-as-described

If Quizzley is materially defective, not as described, or not fit for purpose, please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue. If we can't resolve it, contact Paddle's support team and provide details of the issue and our response. Where a material defect is established, Paddle will issue a refund in line with applicable consumer-protection law. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights in respect of faulty or non-conforming products.

How to request a refund

  1. Use the "View receipt" or "Manage subscription" link in your Paddle order confirmation email; or
  2. Visit paddle.net and look up your order using the email address you used at checkout, then select "Request refund"; or
  3. Contact us via our contact page and we'll help you raise the request with Paddle.

Where eligible, refunds are processed back to your original payment method, typically within 14 days of approval.

Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing page. Cancellation stops future renewals and your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Cancellation on its own does not trigger a refund of the current period.

Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects any non-waivable rights you may have under the consumer laws of your country. Where local law grants stronger rights than those described above, those rights apply.
